2 MILLION Souls Wander in Darkness!  ~  YOU Can Give Some of Them Light!

WILL YOU??

Announcing the 2014 Juarez Campaigns    ~    June 11th-14th  &  November 5th-8th

Join with us as we distribute 100,000 printed missionaries (Chick Tracts) on the streets of Juarez during each of these exciting campaigns!  We’ll also hold 3 open-air evangelistic meetings each evening where we’ve seen 100’s of professions of faith and helped the local churches directly in their outreach efforts.  This is an opportunity for a short-term mission trip you’ll never forget!

Arrive in El Paso, TX on Wednesday by noon and we’ll cross the border in the early afternoon for our first open air meeting Wednesday evening. Then on Thurs., Fri., and Sat. we’ll be on the streets launching our paper missionaries.  Thursday and Friday evening we’ll hold more open-air meetings!  We’ll plan to be done around 2 PM on Saturday.

Meals and Accommodations: We have arranged a group rate at a nice hotel in Juarez with 24-hour security.  Up to 4 people can share a room with 2 queen beds.  This hotel provides us with a breakfast buffet.  Each evening after the open-air meeting we’ll have a group meal at a restaurant in Juarez. As far a lunch goes you’ll be on your own but there are plenty of places near where we will be distributing literature where you can pick up something quick to eat.  Drinks and snacks will be your responsibility.

Transportation:  Once you arrive in El Paso all transportation will be provided to and around Juarez as we work different areas of the city each day. We’ll return to El Paso on Saturday afternoon for those wishing to depart then.  If you would like to stay through Sunday services, which you’re welcome to do, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Cost: We will be charging $150.00 per person for 3 or 4 to a room and $180.00 per person for 2 to a room.  This covers your hotel (3 nights), breakfast x 3, dinner x 3 and transportation.

What else: You’ll need a passport, comfortable clothing, personal items, lunch and snack money.

Can’t Come But Still Like To Help?

Would you at least be willing to help us with the cost of the tracts?

I’m estimating the cost for the tracts alone to be around $5,000 per campaign.

That’s just 10 churches helping with $500 each or 50 individuals with $100 each!

Please send any contributions to my Home Church designated for “Juarez Project”

New Fundraising Opportunity

A WIN, WIN, WIN THAT HELPS SPREAD THE GOSPEL!!

1) Your Church Members Win by helping their Church and Mission Works in Mexico and around the World!

2) Your Church Wins by raising extra money for needed projects and in doing so helps reach the Lost on a foreign field.

3) Precious people on the mission field are reached with the gospel, churches are established, the needy helped – So everyone wins!

How it works

1) Collect unused, unexpired, Diabetic Testing Supplies from your church members or from anyone who wants to donate them.  (There are many reasons people have extra testing supplies that aren’t used and are thrown away – see back for more)  Your Church members may be able to collect donated supplies from friends, coworkers and relatives as well.

2) Once collected (We recommend a couple weeks) Ship the supplies in a box to Border Testing Supplies – 10710 Gateway N., Ste. B5 #203, El Paso, TX 79924

3) Border Testing Supplies will inventory what you send in and depending on the brands and quantity will send your Church a check for these supplies – up to $10/Box!   This can add up fast i.e.:  If your church collects 150 boxes of certain brand name test strips that could be $1500.00!  Use this for missions or any other area of need your church has.

4) Border Testing Supplies will donate all profits from the sale of the testing supplies to: To Every Creature Ministries, Inc. which is a missionary run ministry that helping needy people in Northern Mexico. (For more information visit 2EveryCreature.com)

It really is that simple!  – Everybody wins and the missionaries help more people!    All you need to do is promote this among your people, have them collect the testing supplies and then send them in and your church raises much needed funds!  At the same time the Gospel is preached in Northern Mexico!

Prayer Letter – October / November 2013

THE ENEMY ATTACKS!!

Satan is never happy when the Lord’s church is moving forward.  We had turned the church (Castillo Mio) over to Brother Hugo Luna in December of 2012.  In retrospect, it may have been premature on our part, but we can also see the Lord’s reasons for leading us to do it.  In late August, 2013 we felt the need to return to re-enforce the church for the time being due to a rebellion that rose up against the national pastor.  Due to this rebellion, we have lost 3 “major” families – the Sunday school director, the music director, and assistant treasurer.

We know the Lord is in control and things seem to be stabilizing well.  We had full services the last 2 Sundays (September 8 and 15, 2013) and the spirit seems to be good.  Kelly and I have taken over the Jr. Church for the next 10 weeks until late November.

I feel right now that the Lord would have us to stay there until next spring (2014) and then as He leads to start another church in the area as a mission from this church.  Please be in prayer for this church and us.

Update on Fractured Hip: For the first time since my injury, I am starting to feel much better. I return to the orthopedic surgeon on Sept 27th for a new evaluation.  Please pray that I will be able to stop using the cane, and be able to return to doing exercises again.

Ministry Updates:

Iglesia Bautista “Castillo Mio” – Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua – Even after the problem in this church, we celebrated the fourth anniversary on Sept 8th and had a full house with 88 present.  Several of the leaders including Pastor Hugo and myself have refocused our efforts to reaching more lost souls, baptizing them, and teaching them.  Focusing on the Great Commission and training new leaders always brings excitement to any ministry.  We are excited for the months ahead and to watch the Lord work in our midst.

I put together a pictorial history of this work that covers the last 4 years of our ministry. You can download a copy and print it here:   www.2EveryCreature.com/pictorial-history/

Iglesia Bautista “Esperanza Mia” – Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua – This daughter church of Castillo Mio has offered us their unconditional support as we go through this trying time.  They are only 4 miles from Castillo Mio, and have teamed with us in soulwinning and have also helped us with our music program.  We have also been helping them in their soulwinning efforts on a different night.  It is a blessing to see sister churches working together in harmony.  Pastor DeAnda reports good attendance at all their services.

Iglesia Bautista “La Gracia” – Bermejillo, Durango – I was able to preach at the 8th anniversary service in July. How time flies! It was exciting to see their faithfulness to the Lord and a crowd so large we had to hold this service beside the church, I estimate between 150-180 present.   Pastor Lorenzo came to Juarez to preach our anniversary on Sept 8th and has developed into a great preacher.  Please remember this work in your prayers.

Brother Angel Luna – Bermejillo, Durango   Bro. Angel seems to be making good progress in his recovery, and I am sure that he will be able to stand and even move a bit before the year is over.  Please pray to that end.  Bro. Angel has expressed a desire to return to the Juarez area to start another work as soon as he is able.  That would be a great Joy for me to be able to work together once again. – There’s so much left to do!

Looking for that Blessed Hope and Glorious Appearing! – Keep looking up!
